Quickly identify the passage structure: introduction, main points, conclusion. Then read more carefully for specific questions. You don't need to understand every detail on the first read.
Answer based only on information in the passage. Avoid bringing in outside knowledge or making assumptions. If the answer isn't supported by the text, it's wrong.
Eliminate clearly wrong answers first. Look for answer choices that contradict the passage, are too extreme, or are outside the passage scope. This narrows your options effectively.
